Why is it so important for you to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Here’s a partial list of some of the things you can expect when you’re filled with the Spirit.
- You’re surrounded by the Spirit’s shield of protection, continually (2 Cor 1:21-22; 5:5; Eph 1:13-14; 1 Pet 1:5).
- You have an inner dynamic, strength and power to handle life’s pressures (Zech 4:6-7; Rom 8:11; Eph 3:16-20; 1 Thess 1:5).
- You have an internal filtering system that warns you about deception and convicts you of personal sin (John 16:7-8; 1 Tim 4:1-14; 1 Jn 4:1-4; 1 Cor 12:7-19).
