There is a TARGET on your HEART.
A “red laser” from one of the evil one’s assault weapons aimed at…
a weakness in your character,
a flaw in your personality,
an idiosyncrasy in your temperament, or,
an unmet need in your life.
The surveillance report is in.
The assignment has been given.
The op is active.
YOU are the TARGET.
Why?
How did you end up on the evil one’s hit list?
Why would someone like you merit such attention?

If you can feel the hot breath of the enemy on your neck.
If you know what it means to fight and struggle.
If you’ve looked down only to see your chest painted in laser red…
Take heart.
Be of good courage.
Find your strength.
Man up!
The fact that you’re
on the battlefield,
in the fight,
in the crosshairs,
and, painted laser red,
is evidence that YOU, dear friend, bear a striking resemblance to your MAKER!
You are the object of God’s affection.
You are the focus of His attention.
You are the apple of His eye (Ps 17:8; Zech 2:8).
You are God’s cherished, special and personal treasure (Deut 7:6; 1 Pet 2:9)..
Because YOU make heaven smile,
YOU also make demons shake.
REST and BE STILL because you know your IDENTITY (Ex 14:13-14; Ps 46:10).
STAND and FIGHT because you also know your AUTHORITY (Eph 6:10-18).
At the end of this battle, YOU OVERCOME.
At the end of this war, YOUR KING TRIUMPHS (Rev 19:11-16).
YOU were never meant for defeat.
YOU have always been destined to WIN!
The target on your heart is the evidence…
